To participate in Klondike 2007, each patrol will need to provide the following items in their sledge:

1 Klondike Sledge per Patrol

1 Boy Scout Handbook

Tinder

Kindling

Fuel Wood

Fire Starter from accepted list below

1 Compass & Pencil per Scout

2 Pairs of Leather Gloves

2 Pairs of Eye Protection

1 First Aid Kit

1 Patrol Flag

1 3’ length of Rope

1 Rubber Mallet

1 Decorated #10 Can

 

Acceptable Fire Building Tools

Dryer Lint

Paper

Steel Wool

Dried Grass

Magnesium Block

Battery

Wood Chips

Sawdust

Flint & Steel
